Gao publishes two co-authored papers in physical activity and health

Zan Gao, PhD, professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Physical Activity Epidemiology Laboratory (PAEL), has published two papers, “Validation of Physical Activity Correlates Questionnaire from Social Ecological Model in college students,” as the co-author in the Journal of Clinical Medicine and, “Effects of long-term endurance exercise on cardiac morphology, function, and injury indicators among amateur marathon runners,” as the co-author and corresponding author in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health. The JCM study validated a questionnaire assessing physical activity correlates among college students. The IJERPH study investigated the effects of long-term endurance exercise on cardiac morphology and function, as well as injury indicators, among amateur marathon runners.
