Goorevich and LaVoi featured in Global Sport Matters

Nicole M. LaVoi, PhD, director of the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport and senior lecturer in the School of Kinesiology, and Anna Goorevich, MS, a research assistant in the Tucker Center, recently co-authored and article featured in Global Sports Matters, entitled, “The Disruptive Power of Activism By and For Women Athletes.” The article discusses at length the strong currents of activism that have been integral to women’s sports, the ground gained, and the future of women’s sports.
