Sarah Greising, PhD, assistant professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Skeletal Muscle Plasticity and Regeneration Laboratory (SMPRL), and Jarrod Call, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Georgia, recently published “The Bread Baker and the Sandwich Shop: ‘Partnering Small Businesses’ for Success” in the Journal of Applied Physiology. This publication was written in response to the Viewpoint, “The Academic Biomedical Research Laboratory as a ‘Small Business.'”

Their comment highlights the multi- and partnering-principal investigator research model that has brought Greising and Call success.
