Greising invited to speak at APS Webinar

Sarah Greising, PhD

Sarah M. Greising, PhD, associate professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Skeletal Muscle Plasticity and Regeneration Laboratory (SMPRL), was invited by the American Physiological Society, Aurora Scientific, and Inside Scientific to present a webinar entitled, “Functional Recovery of the Musculoskeletal System Following Injury — Leveraging the Large Animal Model.” In the webinar, Dr. Greising will discuss the work of her lab and specifically highlight the current pathophysiologic understanding of remaining skeletal muscle following traumatic musculoskeletal injuries. Additionally, the webinar will highlight how large animal models of volumetric muscle loss can be leveraged and translated to apply to humans.
