For the 50th anniversary of Title IX, Dr. Mary Jo Kane, Director Emerita of the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport, was given the “Inspiring Woman Award” by the Minnesota Lynx. Additionally, the Tucker Center was also given a $2,500 gift from the Timberwolves & Lynx Fastbreak Foundation.
