Mary Jo Kane, PhD, director emerita and founder of the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport, was interviewed for an NPR article, “Scholar Discusses How Tennis Leads The Way In Closing The Gender Pay Gap In Sports.” In the interview, Kane highlights how tennis has been the sport leading the way toward gender pay equity for decades. She goes into why that, along with Title IX, has been able to generate substantial progress with gender equity in sports and how this could translate to the corporate world.
