Associate professor and Tucker Center affiliated scholar Lisa Kihl, Ph.D., along with TC-affiliated scholars Drs. Vicki Schull (MSU-Mankato) and Sally Shaw (University of Otago, New Zealand), will publish their book, Gender Politics in US College Athletic Departments: The Case of the University of Minnesota Merger, this summer with Palgrave publishers. The book provides an in-depth analysis of the nuanced gendered political processes within a radical change event, in the context of merging the men’s and women’s athletic departments at the University of Minnesota.

Schull is also a 2014 alumni of the School of Kinesiology’s doctoral program.
