Tucker Center director and School of Kinesiology senior lecturer Nicole M. LaVoi, PhD, presented December 2 at the NCAA Women Coaches Academy (WCA), hosted in partnership between WeCOACH and the NCAA. LaVoi’s presentation, “Strategies for Navigating the Coaching Profession,” was part of a 4-day educational training attended virtually by 78 NCAA coaches of all experience levels. The WCA is designed for NCAA Divisions I, II, or III member institution women coaches to increase their individual effectiveness by learning advanced skills and strategies that directly affect their personal and team success.
