Sertic receives NIH internship for summer

Jacquelyn Sertic, PhD student in the School of Kinesiology and Human Sensorimotor Control Laboratory (HSCL) member, received a National Institutes of Health (NIH) internship this summer, where she will be analyzing data from people with various movement disorders. Sertic will be working with Drs. Debra Ehrlich and Patrick McGurrin at the NIH in Bethesda, Maryland.

Sertic’s research at the U of M focuses on the perception of body awareness (termed proprioception) and how that impacts movement. She expects the internship program to teach her new research skills that will set her up for future success, and she is very excited to begin this incredible opportunity.

Congratulations, Jacquelyn!
