Stoffregen publishes commentary in Behavioral and Brain Sciences

Tom Stoffregen, PhD, professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Affordance Perception-Action Laboratory (APAL), has published a commentary, “Against free energy, for direct perception” on a target article, “The Emperor’s New Markov Blankets.” Both the commentary and the target article have just appeared in the 45th issue of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, one of the most exclusive and prestigious journals in the behavioral sciences. The commentary was co-authored along with collaborator Robert Heath, an independent scholar.
