Mary Jo Kane,  Ph.D., professor in the School of Kinesiology and director emerita of the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport, appears in the New York Times article, “New York Times Writer Robbins Hails 2019 Athlete Social Justice Tour.” Kane is cited saying “the national women’s team was inspired by the principles of social justice for the millennial generation.”
