On April 30, Drs. Divya Bhaskaran and Juergen Konczak, team members from the Human Sensorimotor Control Laboratory (HSCL), joined a panel discussion on recent research advances in laryngeal dystonia. They were invited by the National Spasmodic Dysphonia Association, a national patient-centered organization, which hosted a virtual symposium. They reported their recent progress of their clinical trials to improve the voice symptoms of people with laryngeal dystonia. The webinar was attended by around 300 people.
