Former Tucker Center student intern, Sirek, publishes as second author

Greta Sirek, 2020 summer intern of the Tucker Center within the School of Kinesiology and current research assistant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, publishes as a second author. The article, titled “Prevalence of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) prescribed for osteoarthritis: A systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies” (2023, Arthritis Care & Research), investigated the how many participants with osteoarthritis were prescribed NSAIDs. The study concluded that NSAID prescriptions have decreased over time and differ between geographic locations.
