LaVoi, Silva-Breen co-author study on coach-led positive body image intervention for girls in sport

Nicole M. LaVoi, PhD, director of the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport and senior lecturer in the School of Kinesiology, and former Tucker Center graduate research assistant Hannah Silva-Breen, MS (West Virginia University), have co-authored a BMC Public Health article, “The co-creation, initial piloting, and protocol for a cluster randomised controlled trial of a coach-led positive body image intervention for girls in sport.” The paper introduces a coach-led intervention designed to enhance positive body image and sports enjoyment for girls through a cluster randomized controlled trial.
